UNESCO-IOC Ocean Literacy Webinar 

Dear all, 

We are contacting to inform that within the framework of the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021-2030) and the #EU4Ocean coalition, UNESCO CLT and IOC/UNESCO invite teachers and the educational community to a unique Webinar on "Teaching and Learning with Living Heritage." This event aims to promote the recently launched UNESCO Toolkit on Living Heritage, showcase examples of activities, and support schools to be part of the EU Blue Schools network!

The event will also support teachers and schools to include the ocean in the curricula by showcasing examples of educational activities. 

In this webinar, teachers and schools will…

• Understand how to connect ocean topics to oral traditions, performing arts, history, and myths

• Discover how to connect local actions with the #BlueCurriculum initiative

• Understand how to be part of the European Network of #BlueSchools
